General Meeting:May
13, 2002 at 7:30 PM at the Eagles Lodge on 9th St.
APOLOGY!!:As the individual who gets your newsletter out to you,
I wish to make a sincere apology to those who received a blank newsletter.
Apparently the printer did not notice that some of the sheets were blank when
printed and folded. I do not open each one due to time constraints and some
were sent this way. My sincere apologies to those who were affected by this.
Also, some of the mailing labels were hand done due to a problem with my
printer. Hopefully I have this problem solved and will talk with the printer to
make sure blank copies do not happen again. Ike Cummings.
Elections:Nomination of officers for the upcoming year are:
President - Mike Sprague, Vice-President - Keith Boyd, Treasurer - Tom Bassett,
Secretary - Bill Stegeman. Elections will be held at the May meeting.
Thanks To:Thanks to Cindy Gutzwiler (Matt's wife) as she has
graciously taken on the responsibility to log our volunteer hours worked and
miles driven. This would include time and miles driven to the site and back
plus hours worked. Hopefully we will have a form for you to fill out and call
your info to Cindy at 662-1526. For a large work party, only one would have to
do the reporting. Also thanks to Keith Boyd who is interested in being the
historian for the club. If you have any historical items or stories we would
like for you to share them with Keith.
Turkey Feathers:If you have any turkey feathers laying around
from your successful hunts, and, you don't want them contact Joanne Tucker at
663-3721. She will make good use of them.

paid by our club. Camp for girls is mid July and the following week for boys.
Contact Gordon Goodwin at 663-3620 for more information.
Department Report:Hunting pamphlets will be out mid May. Special
permits will be out shortly after. Permits can be purchased by phone, online or

permits for deer and elk. May 15th is the last day to hunt turkeys. Free
fishing weekend is June 8 and 9. Licenses are not needed for resident and
non-residents. The Icicle spring Chinook fishing is tentatively scheduled to
open mid May. Watch the newspaper or call the department office at 662-0452.

counties. Tom will be doing a spring dove survey about mid May and if you are
interested in going along give Tom a call at 665-3391.
Work Parties:Neil Fulwiler has a project near Pete's Colockum
