Early Call For Game Meat:With August 1 opening of cougar and bear
hunting seasons, Irv and Ron are gearing up for any donated game meat. Besides
Irv's cooler we now have a cooler at Neil Fulwilers home. Their phone numbers:
Irv is 884-3071, Ron is 884-9369 and Neil is 663-9076.
Membership:: If you haven't renewed your membership, our next
meeting would be an ideal time to do so. Lifetime memberships are also
available for $250.00.

Web Page:Ron Bruno (884-9369) reports the web page is still doing

and click down to our club information. Ron welcomes any outdoor activity
information for the web page.
Work Parties:There is a possibility of a water spring
installation this fall. Neil Fulwiler will keep us posted. There is the usual
filling of feeders in the Colockum and the Chelan Butte areas. Volunteers and
pickups are always welcome.
Items Available:Matt Gutzwiler says we have lots of 'T' shirts,
caps and glasses for sale. He can be contacted at our next meeting or by
calling him at home 663-1526.
Department Report:In Eastern Washington, there will be a
"Youth Hunting Only" weekend for both quail and pheasant. The date is
September 21 & 22, 2002. For more information check the upland game hunting
pamphlet when it comes out or contact Bob Perleberg at 662-0542. Tom McCall
reports that the department is looking into an emergency feeding program for
deer and bighorn sheep as a result of the Deerpoint Fire. Perhaps the club
could help raise funds like we did one other time in the 1994? Fire.
Program:Beau Patterson will give us a report on fall hunting
prospects for this fall and winter.
