position to fill Mike Sprague’s un-expired term as V.P.
Director
Vacancy: There is a Director’s position open on the
Board of Director’s. If you are
interested in the position, be at the June 16th meeting. If you are interested and can’t attend the
meeting call Ron Bruno (884-9369), Ron Poppe (662-3957) or Gene Robards
(662-6277). The position does not
necessarily have to be filled this month.
97A Fencing: Bids will open June 4th for the first phase of 97-A fence project. The second phase will bid by November.
History Information: If you or someone you know has any historical literature (such as past officers, notes and etc.) please don’t throw them away. The Association is rich in history and we would like to collect and preserve that history by having a collection site. Hopefully, we can put the collection into a book. Contact Bill Stegeman (663-7529) or Ron Poppe (662-3759).
New Web Site: Ron Poppe and Ron Bruno and others have developed our own web page. To log on type in www.wenatcheesportsmensassociation.com and review our new web page. Also, if you would rather read the newsletter on line, instead of receiving a hard copy, contact Ron Bruno. This could save paper and mailing costs.
Clean-Up Day: Matt Gutzwiler would like to say “Thank You” to the 20 -
25 volunteers who came out with pickups and trailers to clean up Douglas Creek,
Blue Grade and around the Stemilt Basin area lakes. It turned out to be a very hot day, but the 20 – 25 pickups and trailers hauled out loads of liter,
furniture and appliances from the three areas.
A job well done volunteers!!!!.
Work Party: Norm Gutzwiler reports the “Colockum Chapter of the RMEF” had a successful day helping Pete Lopushinsky install a gate in the Ingersol area. This group of 7 or 8 volunteers was appreciated greatly. Three additional gates will be installed at a later date.
June Program: Corkie Broadus, with the Leavenworth Fish Hatchery, will be our June program. She was unable to be at our May meeting.
Last Newsletter Until September: This is the last newsletter until August. The Board of Directors wants to thank all of those who have helped make this a year of success. Enjoy the summer months, make a note of some good possible programs for next year and let any of the Directors or Ron Bruno (884-9369), Bill Stegeman (H - 663-7529)
(Cell -393-9528) know your thoughts.
September
Program: The September program will be on hunting prospects
by either Dave Volsen or Jon Gallie.
Have a great summer and look
forward to seeing you in the fall.
